Mohammed Sami Abugoush

Mohammed Sami Abugoush (born September 4, 1963 in Amman, Jordan) is widely recognized as a reliable expert for diamond grading expert and consultation technique with his skills who is faculty for judging or deciding rightly, justly, is accorded authority and status by their peers or the public in a specific well-distinguished domain. As an expert, he has extensive knowledge and ability based on his own research, experience, and occupation in a particular area of diamond and gemstone manufacturing business and personal studies.
He was called to be an advisor for major diamond and gemstone manufacturer in Saudi Arabia on their respective projects of credential, training, educational, sales profession, marketing publication and experience, prolonged or intense experience through practice and education in a particular field in the diamond ,and in specific fields in gemstones, the definition of diamond expert is well established by consensus and his academic qualification for him to be accepted as an expert. also a writer of two major important books in Arabic about diamonds and gemstones which consider to be the largest ever in both subjects (Diamond the Myth & Truth) 1000 page, and Gemstones Fifty Thousand Years in a Book, 1200 page, both books are comprehensive to all diamond and gemstone history and science.

Early life
Mohammed Sami Abugoush hold American-Jordanian citizenship ,his family immigrated from Palestine in 1948. His father Sami Mohammed Abugoush came from an Arabic village on top of Jerusalem hills called Abu Ghosh, and his mother from Jaffa the harbor and old city which is believed to be one of the oldest in the world on the Mediterranean Sea rises to a height of 40 meters (130 ft) and offers a commanding view of the coastline, his life full of events since his early childhood ,he witness three major wars in that reign which make him search for peace somewhere else in the world.
Education
He finished high school in Amman- Jordan soon after he travel to Romaniain 1979 to study civil engineer but shortly after in 1980, he returned to Jordan and started his journey to the United States. New York City, where he studied business administration and marketing at New York University while working at the night to pay his school expenses. While living at home the only thing in his bedroom his books about diamond and gemstones, at an early age he began to focus on specializing in diamonds,in 1984 he finished school and he was ready to work in the diamond business since he attend the GIA long courses and he took some jewelry designing courses too, he started to work for the giant diamond and jewelry retailer in New York City Tiffany & Co. for 16 years as assistant brand manager in the marketing department, learning from the best.
major studies
He added six major Studies in diamond grading skills and marketing diamond strategies which generally critical to success in diamond market and considered essential for acquiring good grades, and useful for learning throughout marketing schools.it would be difficult to estimate how many studies in grading skills for graders have been published. The term studies in diamond grading skills is used for subjects other than methods for studying courses in general. There are many theoretical works on the grading , intended for institutes and academicians. Manuals for graders were published in the 1930s. There has been a fairly steady increase in the number of titles since then.from the 1950s - 1960s, of last century gemological institute has instructors but not experts in the fields of diamond grading and some gemstones too, and the studies of education used research, theory, and experience with their own graders in writing manuals , author in that time had written 22 books on taking standardized tests. Despite considerable research on subjects dealt with in diamond studies manuals, many lack evidence to support their ideas ,today expert Mohammed abugoush add grading methods, grading system, or grading technique, is a formalized learning process or procedure of studies in an language easy to understand .
Publications
while he was working in New York City, he spent all his extra time in New York downtown libraries reading every book about gemstones and diamonds. In 2001 he thought about writing a book about diamonds and gemstones and started collecting each and every piece of information in a big file until he found himself in front of 2500 pages full of history, science ,and famous stones stories. He started to write in 2002 until he finished in 2008. He picked two perfect names for his books: DIAMOND THE MYTH & TRUTH and GEMSTONES FIFTY THOUSAND YEARS IN A BOOK.
Both books considered to be unique and comprehensive to all Diamond and Gemstones science, history, trade, and ancient civilizations diamond and gemstones myth. The book has the most familiar use of diamonds today is as gemstones used for adornment, a use which dates back into antiquity. The dispersion of white light into spectral colors is the primary gemological characteristic of gem diamond. The book explain all facts of twentieth century, experts in gemology have developed methods of grading diamonds and other gemstones based on the characteristics most important to their value as a gem.there is full details of the four characteristics, known informally as the four Cs, are now commonly used as the basic descriptors of diamonds these are carat, cut, color, and clarity.
