Controversy
In 2017 Sarv Webs came to limelight for helping a political party fuel propaganda through its Bulk SMS Services using WhatsApp. This was after Bharatiya Janata Party used their services. The Company uses the Cloud Telephony tool to help political parties fuel propaganda in their campaigns. Bharatiya Janata Party was using WhatsApp Services for their campaign where they wanted to reach the votes on the people using WhatsApp The company helped Bharatiya Janata Party to set up WhatsApp groups in masses. This was meant to facilitate their campaigns by fueling propaganda. This Controversy saw WhatsApp come up with stringent sharing policy and the first social media platform to introduce strict policy on what people share.
Recognition
In 2016, the company received two awards from FinancesOnline. This includes the 2016 Great User Experience Award and the 2016 Rising Star in India.<ref name=":4" />
In October 2011, its affiliated company TDL6 was awarded for producing the best animated short movie in the Jaipur International Animation Film Festival.<ref name=":0" />
