Projecis

Projecis is a cloud-based knowledge convergence platform that was created in 2009 by Russell Holmes. The company is based in the United States. The platform allows project stakeholders to connect teams, while organizing data and information.
Project teams of companies in various fields use the platform, including, education, service industries, consulting, general business, software development and clinical research. The system is said to aid project teams, which often run into complication, due to poor management or multiple deadlines. It is also said to aid large teams and projects that require frequent and complex discussions.
Overview
Russell Holmes is the founder of Projecis, which he founded in 2009. Holmes had previous experience with Synteract, which is a contract research organization, which he co-founded. The company was created after Holmes noted that projects struggled due to poor organization, and that the problems were common across various fields.
Throughout 2012, the company developed various additions and improvements to the platform, including VOIP improvements and new user interfaces.
In November 2013, Spaulding Clinical announced that their teams would be using the Projecis system in order to monitor and manage their clinical projects. During the same year Tekton Research and InSoCal Connect also implemented Projecis. Key personnel also include Geoff Maddox, Chief Software Architect and Paul TanPiengco VP of Marketing and Business Development.
Mechanics
Projecis is a web based (SaaS) project team collaboration and communication platform providing a team with various tools and integrated services. Projecis provides teams with timely information to increase communication about projects, which is said to increase the efficiency of projects
Projecis allows teams to access current and common information about their projects, including, File versioning, Task Management, Gantt Chart, Discussions, Meetings and Events and Project News.
The platform also includes a suite of File features to allow their management to be incorporated into project workflows, Check-out, Share, File Review, E-signature and Training.
Also included in the platform are communication tools including a Projecis provided conference call number, integration of Skype and providing members tools connect and discuss projects via IM, email, or phone.<ref name=press />
