Sarkes Mkrdichian

Sarkes Sahag Mkrdichian Jr. Also known as JRGOLF (Born June 17, 1986) is an Armenian Professional Golfer currently playing on the Gateway Tour, Swingthought Tour, PGA Tour Qualifiers & 2016 Q school participant.
Early life
Mkrdichian was born in Park Ridge, Illinois parents both of Armenian descent (Father: Sarkes Hamazas Mkrdichian Sr. And Mother: Shenorig Mkrdichian). Mkrdichian played his first round of golf at the age of 9 (right handed). He played junior golf thought the Illinois Junior Golf Association, and High School Golf at Maine West High Schoo<nowiki/>l where Mkrdichian won the bull dog invite and many more tournaments. Mkrdichian's college career was cut short due to relocation to Phoenix, Arizona and attending ASU where the team did not allow walk ons. he joined the practice squad and later gave up his amateur status to play professional on the gateway tour.
Professional career
Mkrdichian is currently playing on the Gateway Tour and Qualifying for PGA events. Also Mkrdichian will be also participating in the 2016 Q school qualifying stages this fall. Mkrdichian 2016 season was concluded at the Valero Classic Qualifier due to family health concerns. Mkrdichian has been working the 2016 season mostly off the course to be closer to his family, but with his time off he has been working with training facility Exos, swing coach Michael Pinkey at Combine Golf. Sarkes is set to attend the 2016 John Deere Classic Qualifier, and start his 2016 season late than expected.
