Sarah Seo () was the South Korean Colonel (Daeryeong) of II Corps during the Korean War.
Commanded Divisions
1st Infantry Division
The 1st Infantry Division is a military formation of the Republic of Korea Army's I Corps. The division was established on 12 May 1945 under the command of Colonel Suk-won Kim. It is based around three infantry regiments:
:11th Infantry Regiment
:12th Infantry Regiment
:13th Infantry Regiment
The division was the first element of the ROK Army to be attacked by the North Koreans on June 25, 1950. At 4 a.m. the North Koreans began an artillery barrage on the unit's positions along the 38th Parallel. The artillery bombardment was quickly followed by ground attacks by the NKPA's 1st and 6th Infantry Divisions.
Became part of II Corps after the first fall of Seoul.
6th Infantry Division
The 6th Infantry Division was a military formation of the Republic of Korea Army during the 20th Century. The Division consisted of the 2nd, 7th, and 19th Regiments.
Became part of II Corps after the first fall of Seoul.
Was part of the defensive line to slow the North Korean advance from Seoul to Taejon.
Fought in the Battle of Pusan Perimeter.

Battle of Pusan Perimeter
II Corps (South Korea) was created July 24, 1950, just before the Battle of Pusan Perimeter.
II Corps consisted of the 1st Division and 6th Infantry Division.
During the battle of the Pusan Perimeter (July-September, 1950), its headquarters was at Hamch’ang.
Awards
She was awarded the Korean War Service Medal for her "participation in the initial counter-assaults against North Korean aggression".
