Terraine Jones (Born February 25, 1982) soldier in the United States Army who is also a writer/poet. Serving seven and a half years in the United States Army and having poems such as I Stand Up, I Miss You, and Proper Placement published and available for display on Poetry.com. Early life Born at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, New York Terraine lived with his older brother Walter F. Jones and his mother. Because of an unfit home Terraine was taken from his mother’s custody and was raised by his grandmother. At the age of 3 years old his grandmother has now became his foster mother and he grew up with her on the streets of Bedford Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, New York. Terraine started in Elementary P.S. 309 and then attending Junior High School P.S. 324. He was accepted to William H. Maxwell High School where did not receive his high school diploma, so he went on the Bushwick Outreach where he completed an extra semester of school and was awarded a high school diploma from Franklin K. Lane High School. Personal life During high school is where Terraine meet Erika D. Jones which later became his first wife. They got married after a four year relationship and one year later Erika gave birth to Qá¿¡ Antoñio Jones on June 11, 2005. Qá¿¡ was the first child of both Erika and Terraine. They divorced in 2009. He is now married to Sharea N. Jones. A relationship that almost came to a end after only months has Sharea not only standing as wife but as business associate as well. The relationship between the two is fairly new at only two years. Through my poetry was completed in 2008 * copyright of second book of poetry Personally Linked is pending * now working on writing his third book of poetry Recycled Education MILITARY Joined the United States Army in January 2004 and started his military career in Ft. Sill, OK where he completed Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training in May 2004. His first duty station was Ft. Hood, TX where he became a member of Bravo Battery (Black Dragons), 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division reporting in June 2004. Deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq from December 2005 - November 2006 and deployed to FOB Prosperity, Iraq from March 2008 - March 2009. Departed both deployments as a part of B4/42FA but returned from second deployment a member of Alpha Battery (Aztecs). Terraine also re-enlisted during his first deployment for five years in order to continue serving his country. This is a service in which he has no desire to bring to a stop. Then Specialist Terraine Jones changed duty stations in the summer of 2009 from Ft. Hood, TX to Ft. Riley, KS. He now is serving as an Alpha Battery (Arch Angels), 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. Extended his military tenure with A1/5FA in order to support his unit and further serve his country during an upcoming deployment. Terraine Jones, now sergeant, also is planning on re-enlisting in the Army once more continuing to serve the United States of America. It has also been said that Sergeant Jones has a plan to retire defending his country. RWJ Publishing, Inc. was established in September 2010 and is building a team of solid associates. RWJ Publishing, Inc. publishes a series of cookbooks, calendars, poetry books and novels. Of which RWJ Publishing, Inc. has in the works currently a calendar for the 2011 year.
