Sandeep Shrivastava

Sandeep Shrivastava is an Indian screenwriter (Film / TV and OTT), lyricist and actor.
His work as a screenwriter includes films like , New York, Shivaay, Shershaah, and ’s , a web series featuring Sushmita Sen.
Sandeep has also written dialogues for , (Hindi) and the video game Ab Tak Chhappan: Fatal Encounter.
As a lyricist, he has written songs for movies like , , , Kahaani and .
Early Life and Career
Sandeep was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He spent his childhood and did his schooling in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.<ref name=":0" />
After completing his MBA in New Delhi, Sandeep worked in advertising and created corporate ad campaigns for NTPC, NHPC, U.P. Tourism, the Government of U.P. and the Hindustan Times.
Sandeep then went on to do theatre where he worked with Yatrik and Ruchika Theatre Groups in New Delhi. His work as an amateur theatre artist led to his selection in Living Theatre, New Delhi. Here he got to learn the nuances of drama from Ebrahim Alkazi, the founder director of National School of Drama, New Delhi.
Sandeep’s background in theatre and advertising helped him understand film and television as a medium. He began working with television production companies in New Delhi as an assistant director, post production technician and production executive for television shows based on current affairs that aired on DD and DD Metro in the 1990s.
