Rajshri Deshpande

Rajshri Deshpande is an Indian stage, television and film actor from the state of Maharashtra, who works in mainstream as well as art house cinema. She will be starring in India's first all-out female buddy film Angry Indian Goddesses which will have its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival
.
Early life
Rajshri hails from Aurangabad, Maharashtra where she completed her schooling. She is a law graduate from Symbiosis College, Pune. After completing her degree, she pursued a post graduation in advertising.
She won acclaim and many awards for her performances in street, children, commercial and experimental theater throughout her school and college days.
After finishing her studies, she started working as a media planner in an advertising agency. After 2 years, she started her own agency, ‘Czar Content’ and within 5 years single handedly built it to handle more than 30 corporate clients.
Career
Rajshri will next be seen in Angry Indian Goddesses.
She has also worked in the Malayalam movie "Haram" which received mixed reviews.
Bahula
Rajshri started her own Theatre production “BAHULA”. Based on female empowerment, the story is based upon a tale from Mahabharata. She is the director and choreographer of the production
Social Work
Rajshri has been actively involved with SOS Papa and Dharavi Diary.
Personal life
Rajshri currently lives in Mumbai. She is an avid traveller.
She is a part of the Kalatarangini and Kathakali School in Cheruthuruthy in Kerala. Her gurus are Kalamandalam John and Kalamandalam Gopalakrishnan.
Rajshri is trained in sword fighting, Shivaji Maharaj weapons and Kalari Payyatu.
