| Samrajyam 2 - Son of Alexander is an upcoming Malayalam movie which is a sequel to 1990 cult gangster film Samrajyam directed by Jomon. The sequel to be directed by Tamil director Perarasu, who makes his debut in Malayalam cinema. The movie will be one of the most expensive movies in malayalam which features the return of Alexander's son in an underworld get up. The movie will start shooting on September 2012 and is scheduled for a Christmas release. Ilaiyaraaja, who composed trendsetting background score for the first film, will compose the background score of this film too. In addition to reworking the main classic theme he composed for the first film, he will be composing fresh themes for the sequel. |
