Jay Berman

Jay Berman is a sports anchor, host, reporter, and producer. He has covered major sporting events over the past decade including the World Series, Super Bowl, US Open, NBA Playoffs, and Stanley Cup Finals. He is currently an anchor/host at MLB.com and a sports update anchor at 1010 WINS and Bloomberg Radio in New York. He has also spent time at Sirius Radio as a guest host.
The 2000 Subway Series was a jumping off point for Berman's professional career. Berman says that learning how to shoot, edit, and write while immersed in the environment of Mets vs. Yankees proved to be both inspirational and memorable. He gained further experience at WLNY and the News 12 Networks where he gained exposure in the NYC Metro area.
In 2004, Berman accepted the weekend sports anchor position at WDEF in Chattanooga, Tennessee, covering Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
He returned to New York and the News 12 Networks and then on to CBS College Sports TV as a reporter/producer. He helped lead the network's inaugural video on demand highlight packages during the 2009 NCAA Basketball Tournament. Shortly after, Berman landed at MLB.com hosting and anchoring both live and taped coverage of the Big Leagues. He currently is a sports anchor at 1010 WINS, the most listened to radio station in the country, as well as Bloomberg Radio.
