Samidh Mukerjee (also known as Samidh Mukherjee) is a,Music Composer Singer & Song Writer from Kolkata, India.
Early life
Samidh Mukerjee Born June 9, 1974 in Kanpur. He completed his School Education at St. Joseph School Bowbazar, Kolkata and completed his Law Degree from Hazra Law College, Kolkata. Samidh Started his musical journey in 1990 as a Bass Guitarist & Vocalist from his school Band named Dynamites. in 1993 he joined Bengali Band Parash Pathar as a Bass Guitarist and Vocalist. Then in 1994 Samidh Joined Bengali Classic Rock Band as a Bass Guitarist & Supportive Vocalist.
Career
Samidh Mukerjee composed many popular songs for many Bengali Films. Some of his successful & very popular Projects as a music composer are Macho Mustanaa, Loveria, Kranti, Josh, Dui Prithibi, Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo, , Om Shanti, Majnu, Faande Poriya Boga Kaande Re etc.
His debut Music Album Amar Blue Sunglass was released in 2012 from Remac Muzik. Amar Blue Sunglass is an album where he has Composed, Sang & Have Written seven different genres of songs.
Singers from Hindi film & music industry like, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala and many more sang under Samidh Mukerjee's Music Direction in the film Macho Mustanaa. Shreya Ghoshal Sang the song "Jaane Jaana" from the film Macho Mustanaa in Samidh Mukerjee's Composition. Usha Uthup also sang in Samidh's composition. Kalpana Patowary was nominated as Best Female Playback Singer in 12th Tele-Cine Award, Kolkata for Samidh Mukerjee's Composition "Koka Kola” from Bengali film - Faande Poriya Boga Kaande Re.
Samidh Mukerjee Appeared as an Actor in Bengali Film Loveria which was released in 2013.
Samidh was featured in a song with Rakhi Sawant in the Bengali film Om Shanti. The snog was composed & sang by Samidh himself.
Apart from Acting Samidh Participated in the Bangla Version (Regional Version) of the Dancing Reality Show (Dancing Competition) "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" which was aired in ETV Bangla. Samidh Mukerjee was one of the finalists of the show.
Samidh was last seen in Television as a Contestant of Zee Bangla's Dance Bangla Dance Season 8 He was among the finalists of the show.
Samidh Recently composed two songs for Pallavi Chatterjee's album Folk Sutra.
