SaM Solutions is a provider of offshore software engineering outsourcing services with software development centers located in Belarus and Ukraine. The company maintains European headquarters in Gilching Germany near the Munich, Germany. SaM Solutions provides software application and product development, re-engineering, implementation, testing, maintenance and support, as well as infrastructure services. Resident of Belarus High Technologies Park.
History
Founded back in 1993 by a 10-person team of alumni of the Belarusian State University of Computer Science, today SaM Solutions has a staff of over 1000 employees globally. SaM operates a number of global offices in Germany (Corporate Headquarters), the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Latvia, Belarus and Ukraine.
16-year business history in the international market, broad services palette allow SaM Solutions to handle projects of any complexity, using state-of-the-art technologies.
In the making period the company was confronted with a number of obstacles:
* The India-based software companies had taken an early start, had a large amount of English speaking population and were supported with governmental programs proactively, which enabled them to dominate the market
* In the beginning of 90s the business relations between the US and Russia as well as other former Soviet bloc countries were still shadowed by the political confrontation. The collaborative business environment was slow to materialize.
Despite many analysts are common in their view that Eastern European IT services providers are unlikely to rival India in size, they express opinion that such companies may appeal to enterprises seeking specific IT skills and refer to the increasing market share of Central and Eastern Europe in offshore IT outsourcing services market.
In May 2011, SaM SOlutions entered again into the top 100 IAOP.
Structure
The biggest company's delivery center is located in Minsk, Belarus.
In 2008 SaM Solutions decided to open a new software delivery center in the Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. The Ukrainian office expands SaM Solutions' ability to meet the needs of the fast growing demand for software development outsourcing services in the market. Today this office a part of the SaM Solutions structure and responsible for PHP, web development.
