Abrar ul Haq is the founder and chairman of SAHARA for life trust, (tax exempted charity organization in Pakistan, USA and UK ), a charitable organization promoting health and education in remote areas of Pakistan. The term SAHARA stands for: "Services Aimed at Health and Awakening in Remote Areas". SAHARA for life trust (UK) has been active in both educating and colleting charity for Abrar ul Haq’s projects in Pakistan. The Sahara for life trust (UK) project headed by Haroon Akhter has organized various charitable events, such as charity live shows, charity television telethons.
