Sabrina Gill was born on June 7, 1996 to Amilia and Richard Gill. Her family including a brother named Joshua, currently live Oakville, Ontario. Sabrina began gymnastics at 4 years old and loved it immediately. She currently trains at Oakville Gymnastics Club under coaches Kelly Manjak, Susan Manjak, and Lorne Bobkin.
In 2006 Sabrina competed as a level 7 athlete placing 3rd all around at the 2006 Pickering Qualifier and 1st all around at the Guelph Qualifier. She went on to earn 2nd all around at the 2006 Provincial Level 7 Championships. In 2007 she moved on to level 8 where she took 6th place at the Elite Ontario Competition. She also earned 5th place at the Provincial Qualifier and 2nd at the K-Town Twist & Flip Competition. At the end of the year she competed in the Novice division of Elite Canada placing 7th in the all around.
In January 2008 Sabrina was named to the Canadian Espoir team due her 7th place finish at Elite Canada just a few months before. Sabrina competed at the Canadian Championships in 2008 as a Novice Athlete placing 5th all around on day one of the competition with a first place finish on bars. She finished the 2nd day of competition in 4th all around with a 3rd place finish on bars. Sabrina then traveled to France for the 2008 Massilia Open where she took 16th all around. She returned to Canada for her best showing in the Novice Division of Elite Canada placing 1st all-around, 1st balance beam, 3rd uneven bars, and 3rd on floor exercise.
Sabrina started out 2009 by competing in the Gymnix International where she placed 7th in the all around and 8th on bars. She went on to compete in the 2009 Canadian Championships as a novice earning 1st on vault and uneven bars the first day of competition. At Elite Canada she made her junior international elite debut placing 6th all around and 4th on bars.
She once again start 2010 by competing in the Gymnix International where she earned 18th all around and 5th in vault finals. She had a strong showing at the 2010 Wild Rose Invitational taking 1st place on both vault and floor exercise during event finals. After an untimely injury to a teammate, Sabrina was named to the 2010 Pacific Rim Championship Team and traveled to Australia for the competition where she earned 9th all around. When she returned home she competed at the 2010 Canadian Championships in British Columbia where she was able to show many improvements which landed her first place in the all around. Sabrina also took top honors on uneven bars and floor exercise in the junior division at the Canadian Championships.
