SABASTIAN ROBERTS is a singer, entertainer and artist. In February 2010 Sabastian Roberts label, Homage Records, released the duet 'Dress For The Rain' featuring country music legend Lorrie Morgan. Sabastian Roberts has been a performer for over 25 years- driven by an inner need to convey his feelings to others. He has thrived on entertaining people and found great joy in bringing a smile to the faces of millions. Growing up in the Midwest, his childhood was far from comfortable. However, if his parents had one thing in common, it was their love of music. For Mom it was Janis Joplin, Roberta Flack, and Fleetwood Mac. While for his father it was the country sounds of Waylon, Willie & Johnny Cash. These musical influences gave Sabastian an appreciation for variety and all musical genres. Music became a refuge from the family turmoil for Sabastian Roberts and by fifteen he was writing his own songs and performing in bars. Over the years, Sabastian Roberts has played a wide variety of music - from Top 40 rock to blues, country to heavy metal. Regardless of musical genre, Sabastian Roberts believes that performers have a responsibility to their audience and to their fans. Sabastian Roberts has one constant across all of his musical performances by giving his audiences a great show each and every time! In return, he has been rewarded many times over with their loyal support, love and encouragement.
Sabastian Roberts has worked with Tommy Tutone (of “867-5309 Jenny” fame). Sabastian cut a five-song demo that created quite a buzz in the Nashville music community. Produced by Tommy Tutone (Thomas Heath) The album 'It-Is-What-It-Is' featured great hits such as the title track and 'Burnin Hot Tonight'. Sabastian Roberts voice was variously described as “big”, “bluesy”, “powerful”, “country”, "smokey" and “jazzy”!
His newest full length album release, 'Unwanted Man' is produced by Mark Oliverius , an exceptional producer located in Nashville, TN. Unwanted Man includes the duet, 'Dress For The Rain' featuring country music legend, Lorrie Morgan. Also featuring a track called, 'He Lied' which is a composition written by Sabastian Roberts about his less-than-perfect relationship with his father, a triumph for any song writer.
