Séan Doran (intern)

Seán Doran (born 1977) is a German-British intern and scientist for the European Space Agency and NASA.
Early life and career
Before entering the space industry, Doran first had an interest in drawing comics when he was growing up, and for nearly ten years he has built up his skills to a relatively professional level. He later worked at an animation company as a designer and e-learning instructor. He briefly attended art school, but dropped out to finish other illustration projects. Eventually his interest evolved into a strong passion for astronomy and space photography, where he published electronic artwork on his Flickr page, which drew massive attention. The European Space Agency offered Doran the opportunity to work as an international intern for image processing and enhancing.
Space career
Doran has worked as an international intern for NASA and the ESA's image library cataloging, enhancing and picture compiling. He also helped employees compile thousands of imagery taken from the International Space Station, JAXA's Himawari 8 satellite, and JPL material into long length videos and composite images.
He has also assisted in NASA's Juno spacecraft team to process images taken of Jupiter by the spacecraft.<ref name="auto"/>
