History The Canadian Space Agency formed a team of space engineers in 1975 to work on the dynamics, control and robotics of the Canadarm for use on NASA’s Space Shuttle. This team also worked on the more complex robotics of the International Space Station. Dynacon Inc. was the result of the formal incorporation of this team of engineers. Dynacon went on to develop the MicroWheel attitude control system as well as the design and development of complete microsatellites. In 2007/2008 Dynacon, a company with two main lines of business, decided to focus its attention on automated specimen processors at which point David R. Cooper, General Manager of the Space Division, purchased the entity to form Microsat Systems Canada Inc. (MSCI).
