MicroWheel is a brand of reaction wheel attitude control systems manufactured by for the mini and micro satellite mass class. The MicroWheel has been in use since the launch of FedSat in December 2002. Usage History The MicroWheel 200 has been in use since December 2001. Examples of microsatellites which have or still continue to use the MicroWheel 200 include; FedSat, ChipSat, MOST, NPSat1, XSat and NEOSSat. The MicroWheel 1000 has been in use since December 2006. Examples of microsatellites which have or still continue to use the MicroWheel 1000 include; TacSat-2, EgyptSat 1, Proba-2, DSE, STP/SIV STPSat-2, Quicksat, MS 28, LADEE, and STP/SIV STPSat-3. |
