Ryan Liedtky

Ryan Liedtky (born July 1, 1985 ) is a member of the Libertarian Party of Indiana and member of the party's State Central Committee. He represents the 2nd US Congressional District.
Early life
Liedtky was born in Plymouth, Indiana . He grew up in Walkerton, Indiana and graduated from John Glen High School in 2004. He attended Ancilla College and graduated in 2007. He attended Indiana University South Bend and graduated in 2009.
He also ran for Marshall County Council in 2008 as the first ever Libertarian candidate in that county, and became member of Libertarian Party of Indiana's State Central Committee in February of 2009.
Liedtky has been a leader in the state of Indiana in the fight to keep the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home open. In a radio interview he took issue with a national law mandating how states care for abused and neglected children, and vowed to challenge the Federal Government on this. The South Bend Tribune reported on February 22, 2009 that Liedtky had been seeking a report on the ISSCH that the government refused to provide. The government also refused to provide the report to the American Legion upon their request.
