Al Enhiar/ The Collapse
Mahdi Al Ali - the lawyer of the arrested hypothetical Iraqi president, Mohammed Al Mukhtar, receives a phone call at night from a military captain called Salam, tells him that he's calling from the presidential palace. He tells Mahdi that he should head to the main street where security cars are waiting for him. Mahdi reaches the cars and rides in one, where it drives him to the fifth division headquarter.
There, the head of the fifth division tells him that his client (the arrested president) was transferred from the green zone to the division headquarter, and he must see him by himself. Mahdi goes to the president's cell and finds him dead and surrounded by several criminal detectives, and the number 39 was written on the wall of the cell.
Mahdi was forced to spend the night in the division hq. and dreams about the president Al Mukhtar screaming: everything will collapse, Mahdi. In the next morning Mahdi was transferred to his house by the fifth division troops, and was given a video copy or the president Al Mukhtar's trials on seven CDs, the same trails where Mahdi advocated the president.
Mahdi calls his college student, Maha, and tell her the story to get her assistance. They start watching the CDs, and they find out that all the CDs has the same trial where it emphasizes a verse from the Quran the president was reading, and that verse is the 39 from Surat Younus, and their doubts become bigger.
Inside the fifth division, a member called Al Dhab’ steals the recorded video from the cell where the president died, and carefully throughs it in the garden of the lawyer's house. Mahdi and Maha finds the flash memory without knowing the sender. When the open the video they get surprised that the president was killed by a poison that was replaced with his asthma inhaler. The president died immediately after he inhaled the poison. The video shows captain Fadhil, the son of the fifth division, executed the mission.
Fadhil discovers that Al Dhab’ stole the video tape, so a long chase starts until Baghdad airport, and it ends in Yafa street where Al Dhab’ was shot in the head.
During these events, the news is all about an economic collapse started to happen, followed with currencies deterioration, oil and gold are in extremely high or extremely low indicators, in Baghdad, the government announces the death of the president Al Mukhtar in his cell in suspicious circumstances. (The reason the president was arrested is that he was accused of corruption, while he did something no one will understand until the end of the story). In the press conference, the spokesman of the ministry of justice stood in front of a painting in the presidential palace. That painting is in the palace since Saddam Hussein's regime. It shows missiles launched in the sky. Mahdi watches the conference and notices the painting, there is another sign of the number 39.
During that, Mahdi receives a message with a weird text from a private number. After analyzing it with Maha, they find out that the text is actually the 39th prophecy by the famous Nostradamus, which refers to the death of Al Mukhtar and what the parties that are pursuing Mahdi are looking for.
Mahdi finally finds out that whoever is watching him and sending him these signals, wants him to discover the place where is the biggest secret Al Mukhtar has left before he died, which is tons of gold he prepared to save Iraq in case the economic collapse happens.
Mahdi remembers a letter that was given to him by Al Mukhtar and told him to open it in case he died or released from prison. He finally opens the letter and find a very hard mystery inside it, but eventually it leads to the martyrs shrine, where Al Mukhtar has left a puzzle on one of the carved names on the walls of the shrine, only to find out that the name was his father's (Mahdi's father), which was an adviser to the president Al Mukhtar. Mahdi goes back to his father's stuff, and after complicated searching and detecting, he finds another mystery with a silver necklace that has a number on it. Mahdi keeps searching and solving mysteries moving between several and different religious places. He's doing all of this while being watched by an American security company called (Black Sand), until someone stumbles in front of him and leans on him to give him a piece of paper.
Mahdi and Maha read the paper, it says: (What you are looking for is in Al Tahreer square). When Mahdi reaches Al Tahreer tunnel, Black Sand troops get deployed from the other side, because they also received an information that the gold is there. But an Iraqi force shoots Mahdi and abducts Maha to an unknown place, while Black Sand troops open the gold container and it explodes and kills all of them. That was an ambush where Mahdi was used as a bait to attract Black Sand. In the abduction vehicle, Mahdi wakes up in pain pf the shot, but he was only electrocuted. He finds out that the person who's abducting him and Maha is captain Fadhil, the same man who killed Al Mukhtar.
Fadhil drives Mahdi and Maha to the anonymous man place, which is the major general, Mahir Abdulfatah, the chief of general intelligence. He tells Mahdi that all of what has happened is arranged by him to keep him safe from the Black Sand, and to give Mahdi enough signals to start finding the treasure because the collapse started ruining the world.
The reason why the major general knows about the gold is because he served for a short period of time in Al Mukhtar's presidential time. Mahdi and the chief started to solve the rest of the mysteries, but they suddenly find themselves followed by the government who suspected a weird approach is being done by the chief and the lawyer. Mahdi, Maha, the chief, and Fadhil escapes to one of Al Salhiya buildings to finish solving the mystery. They discover that the president Al Mukhtar has buried a gold container in Tigris side (opens by the gathering of the four elements of existing).
The gold was finally found, but a security force arrests the major general Mahir and his assistant, Fadhil, under accusation pf killing the president Al Mukhtar. The actual reason why the major general has killed the president is to save the secret of the gold, for the government will interrogate him using brutal methods to push him into exposing the secret, and then they waste it and Iraq will no longer be able to survive the global economic catastrophe.
Ghareeb Fi Al Sorbonne/ A stranger in the Sorbonne
The events of the novels take place in three different periods of time, 2003, 2014, and 2022, where all the periods are connected by one event, which the Babylonian clay tablet that was smuggled by one an Iraqi thief to reach to a Jordanian trade through an Iraqi politician.
The Babylonian clay tablet stays in the trader's safe until 2014, until he dies and all of his belongings goes to his spoiled son, Emad Al Hussein. The clay tablet arrives in two broken pieces and attracts a passionate Israeli trader called Naham Zaeefy. He asks Emad to prepare the two pieces fully without telling him why he's interested in this ### rather than the rest of the pieces his father left for him.
The Babylonian tablet has a very rare sequel to one of the most important books in the Jewish history, which is Al Zohar book. The Jewish cult of Al qabala is trying to finish it to reach the mental and psychological state that qualifies them to see God as prophet Ezekiel saw him when he was captivated by the Babylonian army to be taken to Babylon. By that, they will be able to ask God to send the holy Messiah to have the lord's justice state. On the contrary, the Jewish cult of Al Heredem refuses that, because they believe that Messiah should come in the timing of the lord.
The reader will be surprised to see that (Clara), Naham's assistant who is on collecting the two pieces duty, and hands them to the second assistant, Ibrahim, to transfer it to Tel Aviv, where Naham lives, has cheated her Jewish master and killed the Jordanian trader and possessed the two pieces. So, a rough chase starts between her and the second assistant, Ibrahim, who is trying to get the pieces from her and sail with them to Naham by Star Gate ship, which will sail in less than 12 hours. Ibrahim fails to take down Clara and getting the tablet from her.
Clara will send encoded messages to the center of gathering the missing Jewish heritage in Geneva, telling them that she has the sequel of Al Zohar. They send her an agent in Amman called (David Etan) to contact Clara and take the two pieces of her. Clara keeps hiding and sending encrypted messages that lead to confusing mysteries, and their solutions exist in religious and historical places in Jordan. Ibrahim is chased by David Etan who is trying to follow the leads with assistance from his boss in Geneva (Caren Shkheteleh). On the other side, Clara is still hiddin and no one knows about her.
In Tel Aviv, Naham is waiting for the news from Amman whether it's good or bad through an employee in the telecommunication center he has recruited, and she's spying on the calls between Clara and Geneva. He tells Ibrahim about David's next step so he can start follow it. In the same time, Naham tells Al qabala cult elders about what he has found in Amman. The cult starts praying for the safety of the clay tablet so the book can be finished after 2500 years of searching.
Eventually, the three, Clara, David, and Ibrahim meet in Al Karak castle. A strong fight starts between David and Ibrahim, ends in Ibrahim's defeat and passing out. Clara sits with David to seal the deal of selling the clay tablet to Geneva. Pictures of the tablet with a little bit of the text were sent to Caren for confirmation. But, after sending the pictures, Clara kills David Etan in a shocking scene for an unknown reason to the reader, and while she attempts escaping, Ibrahim returns to consciousness and fights with Clara, whom he considers a cheater to his master, Naham. In the end, Ibrahim gets the two pieces and heads to Star Gate ship that is headed to Tel Aviv.
On the ship, Ibrahim gets along with a girl he liked, and he spends an hour with her in her room. When he returns to his room, he finds out that the two pieces are gone.
In Tel Aviv, the elders of the biggest cults are gathered early in the down of that day by the command of the chief of Al qabala, for he will announce that his cult will possess the sequel of its holy historic book despite the resentment of The heredems. In the meanwhile, a video call comes from Star Gate with Clara on a big screen in front of the cults' elders in the congregation, holding the two pieces of the tablet trying to throw it in the sea. The elders are surprised that Naham faked Clara's cheating so they can make sure that the clay tablet is real, and he's the only hope left for Al qabala's people to finish their book. He asks her to throw it in the sea with the astonishment of the qabala's people. Naham surprisingly announces that he follows the Heredem not Al qabala, and he's been deceiving them for all this time only to tell them: I just took down your last hope, and the Heredems are the ones who are right about Messiah.
On the ship, Ibrahim finds Clara standing next to the fence and still calling the congregation and Tel Aviv. He attacks her with anger and throws her in the sea before the security arrests him on Star Gate.
Naham hears the news, and he dies later for his grieve on his most important agent, Clara. He should’ve told Ibrahim that Clara is working for him instead of waiting until now. But he didn't want to tell Ibrahim about that from the beginning so the chasing will look real and Naham would look like a real supporter to the Qabala.
In Paris, and in parallel to these events, in 2022, professor Michel Leon finds himself in front of a Babylonian clay tablet put for sale on the deep web. He finds it with assistance of an old friend of his, called François Fanso. After knowing the actual owner of that tablet, Leon finds him facing a sadistic girl trying to make him a submissive, and in return she will give him the opportunity to take a closer look on that tablet which arrived to her father's antique store and she put it in an auction on the deep web. After she gets what she wants from him, she gives him the right to look at it in the Sorbonne. And here, professor Leon finds him facing unsolvable and complicated mysteries.
Eventually, after a lot of effort, Leon managed to connect between what is written on the tablet and what was written in Le Figaro newspaper which he's been keeping since 2014 because of a news that drew his attention. He finds out that it is the same two pieces of the tablet that was thrown in the see by a girl named Clara. The news has told the entire story of the tablet, but this tablet (Paris Tablet) has predicted its end too, where it will be smashed under the roof of the Sorbonne that will collapse due to an earthquake.

The author’s word
I think about all the concerns that surround us as humans, all the reasons that brought us here, and will take us to an even scarier tomorrow, and will make us put the rope on our necks with our own hands. The scary thing in these hazards that generates these concerns is that it has slipped into our lives, surrounded our minds, our thoughts, and our ways of living. It is drawing the path we will take, so all of the thoughts are surrounded no matter how free we claimed it is. This is ideology, whether it's devilish or angelic, it depends on the line it made us stood in right under our nose, whether we were with it or against it, adopted it or became enemies with it. But, will we penetrate it as individuals? It's the fears that we realized and horrified by it, or deliberately ignore it, or may never see it.
