Rupaali Biswas

Rupaali Biswas is a Bengali politician and youngest candidate of 2019 Indian general election in West Bengal. Career Biswas is a member of Matua community, migrated from East Pakistan (Bangladesh). She passed B.A from Kalyani University and married in November 2016. Her husband Satyajit Biswas was a double time All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) legislator from of Nadia district. Satyajit was killed on 9 February 2019 at a Saraswati Puja inauguration. On 12 March 2019, Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt. Mamata Banerjee considered and announced Rupaali's name as a candidate in Ranaghat Lok Sabha. At the day of nomination on 5 April 2019 she only twenty years and eight days old. Smt.
