Rudi Federspiel (* July 1949 in St. Anton a. Arlberg) is a Tyrolean politician and federal state parliament delegate. The Innsbrucker politician became famous, when he first initiated the big New Year's Eve party in Innsbruck in 1994. After his exclusion from the FPÖ Federspiel founded his own political movement. As a ÖVP candidate together with the head of the state parliament Herwig van Staa, Federspiel became a member of the Tyrolean federal state parliament. 2006 he is racing for the Innsbrucker local council elections as a mayor candidate against Eugen Sprenger, George Willi and Hilde Zach.
