Roxann Latimer

Roxie Ann "Roxann." Latimer (February 28, 1956) is an American author, best known for writing African American romance, mystery and erotica genres.
Biography
Born and raised in Santa Monica California, she resides in Yuma Arizona and works as a Victims Advocate in Winterhaven, California. In her writings, Roxann writes from an African American woman’s perspective focusing on characters derived from her life reared in an upper middle class background but with life experiences in blighted urban America to international locations (Africa) and other destinations.
Latimer has worked as a social worker, writer, television producer, paralegal and non profit administrative director. Latimer is the head of two non profits, (Friends of Russell Latimer, Inc. and Hot Springs Rural Network, Inc. and is employed by the Quechan Indian Tribe as Administrator and Advocate for Domestic Violence victims.
Latimer has published three novels and is currently at work on a forth and a book of poetry.
