Rosso Corsa Sales Limited
|
Rosso Corsa Sales Limited was a company that operated in North London until May 2006, selling and servicing Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini motor cars, and operated by Richard Lukins. Rosso Corsa collapsed with significant debts following court action by a finance company, in Bournemouth County Court: These debts included over £130,000 of money owed to owners whose cars had been sold, but to whom the proceeds had not been paid. Of the sole director of Rosso Corsa, Mr Richard William Lukins, the Official Receiver appointed by the court said (see pts 8 & 9 in the above report, 2/3): "Mr Lukins has advised that the company may have sold some vehicles belonging to customers towards the end of its trading period and not paid the net sale proceeds (after the company's agreed commission) to those customers. All monies received by the company in this regard were paid into the company's bank account, but owing to the losses referred to above it could not afford to pay the sums due to the customers concerned". Since the collapse of Rosso Corsa, Mr Lukins was briefly in the news in 2007 , following an incident at his workshop by an allegedly disgruntled customer. He has been reported by Evo Magazine, issue 152, December 2010, pp163 (in an article concerning buying a user Maserati GranTurismo), as being connected with another London Ferrari/Maserati specialist, Fiorano Cars.
