Ross Burki (born March 6, 1990, in ) is an American soccer player who plays for Orange County Blue Star. Youth Burki began his career in Dresden, Germany as the first player from the United States to sign with the FC Dynamo Dresden youth academy team (1990 Boys). He played with Dynamo Dresden from 1999 to 2001. In 2004 Ross was declared the MVP for the under 15s at the Wake Forest University men's soccer camp. In 2005, Ross traveled to Birmingham, England where he participated in trials at Birmingham City FC, Academy and Reserves, in the English Premier League (EPL). In 2007, he played for the Austin Lightning in the USL Premier Development League (PDL). He scored his first PDL goal thirty seconds into his first game, a 2007 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifier against New Orleans. He graduated from Lake Travis High School in 2008 and played for Lehigh University where he was recruited to play Division I collegiate soccer. Ross scored his first collegiate goal against the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, in the Patriot League. Ross has committed to play for the Orange County Blue Star in the 2009 USL Premier Development League (PDL) season. Runner-Triathlete An elite runner and triathlete, with a previous top ten, U-16 men's USA-Triathlon ranking, Burki has focused exclusively on soccer since 2004, and plans to return to Europe to play as a professional.
