Roll up TV is a developing technology, in which a television screen or computer display is modified to display on a paper thin surface that can be rolled up and stored. The display uses organic LED (OLED) technology, which is highly energy efficient without sacrificing image quality. The electroluminescent and photoconductive properties of the thin film of organic chemicals a fraction of an inch thick, turn an electronic signal into a television picture. Flexible roll up displays are not yet available in the consumer market.
