JSR Micro is a the US operations for JSR Corporation of Tokyo, Japan. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, the company currently employs 130 people for the manufacture and sale of specialty materials for the semiconductor, clean energy and life sciences markets.
The company was established in 1990 and held its grand opening in 1996.

JSR Micro, Inc. creates and delivers high quality electronic materials including leading-edge lithography materials, CMP consumables, thick photoresists for packaging and interlayer materials.
Energy and Environment
In August 2007, JSR Corporation launched JM Energy, which is dedicated to the development, manufacture and marketing of its ULTIMO Lithium Ion Capacitor (LIC), an electrical storage device that stores or releases electricity through rapid electrostatic reactions and its aqueous binders which use water to replace the organic solvent ?N-Methylpyrrolidone, or NMP, offering significantly increased safety and lower $Wh/kg cost.
Life Sciences
JSR began research in Life Sciences more than 30 years ago. Today the company supplies high technology particles and polymer products for in vitro diagnostics and life science research applications.
JSR Micro NV
Established in 1993, JSR Micro N.V. opened a new facility in 2002 for the manufacturing of advanced semiconductor materials such as KRF and developer. Serving the European Market, JSR Micro N.V. in Belgium today offers "innovative material solutions" for:
