Dais Analytic Corporation is a technology firm located in Odessa, Florida. The company was founded in 1993 and produces nanotechnology polymer plastics for low-input energy solutions. Dais is currently active in the fields of water purification and HVAC, and is in the development and testing stages of an ultracapacitor energy storage system in partnership with GE. Dais Analytic works with polymer resins and materials to develop a proprietary nanotechnology polymers. The manufacturing process creates high charge density polyelectrolytes, which have a wide array of useful characteristics including ion conduction, ion-exchange capability, moisture transfer, and anti-fouling properties. These materials are derived from the sulfonation of styrene, containing block copolymers, which allow for ionic conductivity and water transport. |
