Rogue filmmaker

ROGUE is a style of filmmaking often characterized as Guerilla Filmmaking, Independent "Indie" filmmaking, or Avant-Garde filmmaking which focuses on the true art and passion of storytelling. A ROGUE film is often produced outside of the major Hollywood studio system because ROGUE filmmakers are not afraid to explore unconventional topics, experiment with new technologies and methods to capture the story, give opportunities to new talent, distribute using new technologies and work with international film sales agents to sell the film's rights territory-by-territory, and with this freedom create some of the most compelling content often imitated by the major Hollywood studios. As with Guerilla filmmaking, ROGUE filmmaking consists of a can-do attitude that may rely on unconventional methods to produce films due to lower budgets, working with smaller crews, shooting quickly, lacking film permits, and relying on a network of other passionate ROGUE filmmakers who collaborate on each others productions by assisting in securing locations, props, equipment, and helping as crew.
