Roger Bell

Roger G. Bell, is an American television news executive and 1973 graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Bell was assistant news director (1976 to 1984) and news director (1989 to 1994) at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. While at KABC he was criticised for promoting the station during newscasts.
He became news director at KCBS-TV in 1999
Before being News Director at KCBS-TV, Bell was Executive Producer of News for WNBC-TV in New York, NY, and Assignment Editor of NBC Network News in Washington, D.C. While at WNBC-TV, Bell worked with anchors Sue Simmons and Chuck Scarborough, the longest-running anchor team in New York television history, from Rockefeller Plaza. He also led news departments at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas and KMGH-TV in Denver.
