Robin Radhakrishnan

Robin Radhakrishnan, (born 26 October 1990), popularly known as Doctor Machaan is an Indian medical doctor, internet personality, entrepreneur, businessman. He went viral by showing and gained social media attention after the participation in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4.
Early life
Robin Radhakrishnan was born to S. Radhakrishnan and Beena Radhakrishnan in 1990, in Thiruvananthapuram. He pursued his education at the International Indian School in Riyadh, followed by MGM Model School in Varkala, and SN Public School in Thiruvananthapuram.
Career
He commenced his medical practice at GG Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram in 2015, as the Duty Medical Officer and IP Night In charge at GG Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where he worked for over seven years.
In 2019, he hosted an online talk show "Chat with Doctor Machaan," which was aired on Kaumudy TV; he started gaining popularity from the show among young and older audiences. Later, he started creating motivational video content on social media, receiving the title “Doctor Machaan” from fans.
In 2022, he appeared as a participant in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 where he got ejected due to physical violence but he gained large audience from the show . In May 2023, he and Rajith Kumar were invited as guests to the Big Boss Malayalam Season 5 and got ejected from that season also,which makes him the only person in the history of the entire Bigg Boss show who got ejected multiple times.
In March 2023, Robin announced his debut Malayalam film, "Ravanayuddham," a project he wrote and produced under his production company, DRR Film Productions.
Awards and nominations
In 2020, he received the Global Youth Achievement Award in the ‘motivational and inspiring youth’ category and Indian Star Icon Award.
In 2023 he received the ”Popular Face Of The Year” Award after Big Boss Malayalam Season 4 from Einstein World Records, for selfies and pictures with over 1 Lakh fans (100,000+). Robin is the first Indian celebrity who has taken pictures and selfies with more than one lakh (100,000+) fans.
Personal life
In February 2022, Robin got engaged to Arati Podi, an actress and fashion designer who appears in Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam film industry. They announced that their marriage will happen in June 2024.
