Make It Happen Productions

Make It Happen Productions, Inc. (MIHP) is an American independent full-service production company that creates and oversees projects from development to post-production. It was founded by executive producer Billy Frank in 1994 and is based in Sherman Oaks, California.
Selected notable works
Before the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, MIHP produced a multifaceted 35mm project for the Australian Tourist Commission and Bank of America called The Australian Experience, which included a thrill ride, promotional short film and "behind-the-scenes" documentary as part of a one-year traveling exhibit, the Bank of America Down Under Tour. The project debuted on NBC's and earned MIHP the Grand Festival Award for Promotional Short Feature at the 2000 Berkley Video and Film Festival, three Bronze Awards in three different categories at the 2005 Telly Awards and a nomination for Best Promotional 35mm Film at the 2000 Ojai Film Festival.
In 2002, MIHP produced the launch campaigns for FX Networks' The Shield; the series premiere was the most watched in cable television history. That same year, MIHP created a new opening title sequence for the . The company also produced the main title sequence that would run from 2003 to 2011 for NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
In 2005, CBS's current president and CEO Les Moonves enlisted MIHP to executive produce multiple spoofs of its popular show for the network's upfronts, which went on to promote sales to multi-million dollar advertisers. MIHP garnered several awards for its role in producing the resulting Pool Safely campaign, including an Aurora Award, a Bulldog Award and multiple Telly Awards.
MIHP also produces traditional commercials and new media and integrated marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis for companies such as Nikon, Ford, Discovery, CBS, FX/Fox, ABC and Sony. Longtime client Warner Bros. International has relied on MIHP to deliver its print, show promo and international presence campaigns for nine years. The show, which is entitled On Begley Street, focuses on how Begley, his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley and their daughter Hayden strive to best lead an environmentally-friendly lifestyle. MIHP is also preparing to produce eight episodes of a new music show, Hit Music Central.
At the beginning of 2011, MIHP established its own department of development, which envisions and creates original content.
The company has secured financing for the development of its first feature film, slated to begin production in 2013.
Other awards
Being Alive, a documentary produced by MIHP, won the 1997 Spirit of Hope Award in recognition of its role in raising $250,000 in donations to support AIDS research.
At the 2005 BDA North America Design Awards, MIHP earned a Silver Award for its design of ESPN's figure skating bumpers and a Silver Award in Art Direction and Design for its promos for Discovery Channel's Pompeii: The Last Day documentary. It added Gold and Bronze Awards for its promos, also for Discovery Channel, in 2008. That year also yielded two Gold Awards and one Bronze Award at the 2008 BDA Latin America Design Awards for MIHP's production of Warner Channel's Bim Bam Bum campaigns.<ref name="MIHP site" />
