Robin Hunter-Clarke

Councillor Robin Hunter-Clarke was born on 10 October at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, Lincolnshire, growing up in Skegness, Lincolnshire. He served as Deputy Head Boy at Skegness Grammar School. After completing his A-Levels in June 2011, he will leave The Skegness Grammar School. Alongside his ambitions to pursue further education, studying Law, he he has managed to step onto the political ladder, representing the people of his home ward of Winthorpe on Skegness Town Council.
In May 2011, Robin was elected as Skegness's youngest ever Town Councillor, making him, at the young age of 18, one of the countries youngest councillors in History. He currently sits on the Planning Committee and Business and Resources committee. He is also the Town Council's respresentative to the Skegness 2020 Vision Steering Group.
His hobbies include Golf. Robin is Junior Club Captain at Seacroft Golf Club in Skegness for the 2010/2011 season. He has been re-elected by the Junior Committee to serve another term. Something which is a rare occurance, yet none the less he accepted it with great pleasure.
Cllr. Hunter-Clarke is the Branch Chairman of Skegness Conservative Future and is currently serving his second term.
Skegness Conservative Future is a successful Branch in one of the most eastern branches of the East Midlands Region. Robin was one of the founders and has been Chairman since its launch in January 2010.
Robin served as Deputy Chairman of Lincolnshire Conservative Future from September 2010 till December 2010.He then served as Acting Chairman of Lincolnshire Conservative Future from December 2010 to February 2011. After this Robin was Deputy Chairman of the East Midlands Conservative Future from February 2011 till June 2011. His current intentions are to stand for Chairmanship of the East Midlands Region of Conservative Future at the next elections which are due to be held within the next 9 months.
Cllr. Hunter-Clarke is also currently employed at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness where he is an Usher, and Entertainment and Tourism Advisor. Robin has a great passion for the Comedian/Artist Ken Dodd, through his job he has had the great pleasure of meeting the comic legend. He has also had the opportunity to meet such people as the widely loved Chuckle Brothers , Kirsten O'Brien, Jimmy Carr, Jimmy White and Alex Higgins (one of the finest snooker players who ever lived).
