Robert Thornton Henderson

Robert Thornton (Bob) Henderson (born 1928) is an American author who has a history of teaching and being active in the Presbyterian Church.
Biography
Henderson grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from ]]Davidson College]], and studied theology at both Westminster Theological Seminary, and Columbia Theological Seminary. He was the Presbyterian campus minister at North Carolina State University, the teaching pastor of Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian Church in Durham, North Carolina, the Canal Street Presbyterian Church in New Orleans, Lousiana, and the First Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was denominational staff person for evangelism with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.), and Director of Seminary Ministries for Presbyterians For Renewal. He has been a member of the American Society of Missiology, and a participant in The Gospel and Our Culture Network (Newbigin discussions). He is the author of a number of books in the fields of ecclesiology and missiology.
