Robert Rosenfeld

Robert “Bob” Rosenfeld (born January 8, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY) is recognized for over 35 years of experience in the fields of organizational innovation and creating social capital. He is the first Innovator in Residence at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina. Rosenfeld’s first book, Making the Invisible Visible shares his eight human principles that sustain innovation.

Rosenfeld holds a BS in chemistry from Drake University (1969). In 1978, he created the Eastman Kodak Company's Office of Innovation, which was the first infrastructure of its kind to be successfully implemented inside an organization. In 1981, Rosenfeld co-founded the Association for Managers of Innovation (AMI). In 1988, he founded Idea Connection Systems, a company that focuses on creating environments which fosters the creative spirit and unleashes an organization's potential to innovate. In 2001, Rosenfeld created Mosaic Partnerships, an innovative process for cities and communities that break down barriers between races. He was given the Martin Luther King Community Peace Award in 2004 for his contribution to the eradication of prejudice in the Rochester, NY Community. In 2008, Rosenfeld was given Innovator in Residence Emeritus status at the Center for Creative Leadership.
