Robert Ammons

Robert (Rob) Earl Ammons is an American lawyer and head of the Ammons Law Firm which he established in 1994 in Houston, Texas.
Education
Rob Ammons attended college at Baylor University. Ammons went on to earn his law degree at Baylor Law School where he was editor of the Baylor Law Review. While in law school Ammons was a member of the The Order of Barristers and a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. In 1988 Ammons was selected to serve as a briefing attorney for the Texas Supreme Court.
Personal
Ammons is married to Chris Ammons and they have four children.
Career
Ammons certified as a personal injury lawyer by the Texas Board of legal specialization.. Ammons is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Ammons is best known for his work on the Firestone and Ford tire controversy. Ammons successfully prosecuted cases involving numerous won verdicts for clients hurt by the faulty tires.
Ammons has also worked extensively representing clients in cases linked to the explosion.
Ammons currently represents a majority of the victims and their families hurt in the Sherman, Texas bus accident. Ammons also represents a woman who is suing Toyota after her husband was killed when he lost control of their Toyota minivan in relation to the 2009-2010 Toyota vehicle recalls.
From 2003- 2009 Ammons was voted by his peers for inclusion in the list of Texas Super Lawyers. Ammons is also included in the listings of the top 500 Lawdragon Leading Lawyers in America and the Lawdragon top 500 Plaintiffs Lawyers in America, placing him in the top .05% of all attorneys in the country.
