Robbie Lawrence Smith (24th may, 1989) born in Oamaru, North Otago Robbie is a prolific rugby player verging on the break of the Otago NPC rugby team as well as the Otago Highlanders super 14 team. He currently plays for the Dunedin rugby team sitting on the bench as an impact half back and is known for his gutsy defense. A highlight of his debut premier season was kicking 3 from five goals against a thirtsy green island team and gaining a man of the match performance. All Black coach Graham Henry has been quoted as saying "we see Robbie as a player for the future and is part of our 2011 world cup campaign". Robbie is also a hit singer as well as a hit with the woman. he is also a very competent cricket player being included in the Otago under 19 cricket team.
