Marnick Vermijl (born January 1, 1992 in Peer) is an Belgian association football player who currently plays for Manchester United in Barclays Premier League. He is a defender and plays mostly at right-back. Career Standard Liege Vermijl played at the Standard Liege, where he did not play with the senior squad. He only played with the reserve team. Manchester United Vermijl moved to Manchester United for the 2010-2011 season becoming only the second Belgian player to play for the team. He made his debut in a friendly against Shamrock Rovers scoring twice and made 24 appearances for the reserve squad his first season. International Vermijl has 10 caps and 3 goals for the Belgian U17 team. He has 5 caps and 1 goal for the Belgian U19 team. |
