Laura Cavender (DJLC as DJ) is a half Czech half American DJ, Model and Figure Fitness Competitor. Orignially from Texas, this rising star began her career as a national champion and figure fitness competitor for over 4 years. Modeling full-time brought Laura to her current home of Los Angeles, CA. After enjoying a successful spell as the QB/Safety for the LFL's LA Temptation she discovered that her true love music would be the showcase of her many talents. She got her start DJ'ing at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills; now her shows take her all over the world to places such as Dubai, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Mexico, Canada and all over the US. Her wide selection of musical genres give her the opportunity to play a diverse variety of shows including house, dubstep, hip-hop, funk, disco and even rock. Such a diverse style has given Laura the opportunity to work with some of the biggest dance music DJ's and music industry artists . She has gained major interest from the entertainment industry because of the tranisition from sports to the music industy .
Laura plays to mainstream and underground audiences, best known for playing to the crowd with high energy and feel-good vibes. DJLC is one of the very few pro athletes to make the transition from professional sports to the heights of the music industry..
