Robb Elementary School

Robb Elementary School is one of five elementary schools in the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District of Uvalde, Texas.
History
Shooting
On May 24, 2022, an 18-year-old man, Salvador Ramos, fatally shot 19 students and 2 teachers and injured 17 others. At the time of the incident, it was the third most deadly school shooting in US history behind the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting and 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Other events
In 2018, Robb Elementary hosted a robotics expo. Teams from Uvalde High School, Morales Junior High, Flores Elementary, and Batesville School were expected to compete.
The school supplements this disadvantaged population by implementing the Mckinney-Vento Homeless Education Program which is a federal program with the goal of improving living conditions, opening employment opportunities, and securing a stable food source.
Faculty
The campus is 89% certified. 11% of the staff is not certified. There are 10 Grade 2, 11 Grade 3, and 10 Grade 4 teachers. There is Physical Education Instructor with 2 teaching assistants, and 3 rotation teachers. The rotationally faculty operate the library operated by a certified Librarian with an assistant, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs, and Fine Arts. There is also a paraprofessional managing the computer laboratories. Robb also has 2 ability-grouped FLS classrooms with 5 assistants. There is 2 inclusion paraprofessional, and 1 behavior support. Each grade has a Co-Teach classrooms.
