Daman Sood is an Indian Sound Recording Engineer, best known for his work with musicians such as Jagjit Singh and Abida Parveen, as well as his prolific work as a Song Recordist for many Bollywood film soundtracks, including Devdas, Sarfarosh, Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge and Vaastav: The Reality. One of the first graduates in sound engineering from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, he started his career in 1969, thereafter and in a career spanning over 50 years went on to have an important impact on sound recording in Hindi film music (Bollywood) and non-film music, through Western Outdoor Recording Studio, Mumbai.
