Robb Douglass worked as an industrial chemist and a school master before starting work in IT in 1985 and later becoming a web page designer. He later set up what was to become one of the most extensive picture archive websites of the 1990s and 2000s, Robb's Celebs, a popular website featuring extensive galleries of mainly female celebrities, often in various states of undress. The site was online for over a decade, from before 1998 to 2008, gathering over 95 million visits by the time it closed. FHM lists it as the number one Incredible Website containing Girls. Death He died on 25 April 2008 aged 58 from an allergic reaction to antibiotics taken for a chest infection. His death was widely reported on internet message boards. The Robbscelebs.co.uk website was taken offline shortly after. |
