Rob Capriccioso

Rob Capriccioso is a Native American journalist based in Washington, D.C. He is an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Biography
Capriccioso works as a reporter for Indian Country Today, and his articles have appeared in major Native-focused publications, including American Indian Report and News from Indian Country. His reporting on indigenous issues has been read into the Congressional record and has been recognized by members of U.S. Congress.

His writing on American Indian political and cultural topics, for which he has been awarded by the Native American Journalists Association, has been featured in The New York Sun, The American and Cultural Survival Quarterly.

One of the relatively few working Native journalists who have contributed to mainstream media outlets, Capriccioso has conducted political writing and editing and served as a contributing editor to Campaigns and Elections Politics Magazine. Several of his political scoops have been featured in the New York Posts Page Six, Radar Magazine and at TMZ.com.
