Rizi Timane is a transman Nigerian-American entertainer, and a Certified Trans-sensitivity and Diversity Trainer who advocates for transgender rights. He is a licensed psychotherapist with an LGBTQIA practice specialty. Timane serves as a United Nations Secretary-General in "Decker" on Adult Swim Network, as a star guest in an NBC's medical drama; "New Amsterdam," and his transformation story (from woman to man) is shown in an Amazon Prime Documentary series, "Outrageous". Early life and education Timane was born in Nigeria to a Christian family, and he attended his secondary education at a tuition-free military academy in Jos, Plateau State. He was transferred to Los Angeles because of harassment allegations. He studied Business management in London and Los Angeles and later an Msc in social work from the University of Southern California. He went further to study religion, social justice, and activism at the Claremont School of Theology. Career Timane is an actor, singer, a licensed psychotherapist and an LGBTQIA practice specialist. Timane is now a full-time Transgender Health Program manager at St. John's Well Child and Family Centre in Los Angeles.<ref name=":1" />
