The site was founded by Chady Lakkis, a nine year veteran of the e-commerce industry and graduate of the renowned Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY. He was first exposed to the e-commerce world in 1998 as an internet artist for Disney's now defunct toysmart.com. Chady has done work for several well known corporations, notably The Walt Disney Corporation, Tyco Healthcare, and Bose.
