Riju Jhunjhunwala is an Indian Industrialist, Philanthropist and Politician. He was an Indian National Congress party candidate from the Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency. Early life and career Riju Jhunjhunwala is the grandson of Laxmi Niwas Jhunjhunwala who founded the LNJ Bhilwara Group in 1961. He is the current Chairman & Managing Director of RSWM Limited and a managing director of Bhilwara Energy Limited. He is the vice chairman of HEG Limited which is the manufacturer and exporter of graphite electrodes in India. In 2019, Riju Jhunjhunwala founded Jawahar Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. In the 2019, he fought Lok Sabha election against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Bhagirath Choudhary. Personal life In 2010, Riju Jhunjhunwala is married to Amrita Kak daughter of Beena Kak, former Minister of State for Tourism and Cultural Affairs of Rajasthan. |
