Ridiculously Photogenic Guy

Ridiculously Photogenic Guy is a popular meme figure of a smiling man called Zeddie "Watkins" Little, when he was running in a 10 km race in Charleston, South Carolina. After the first picture of him was posted online, he gained notability because people found him impressively photogenic.
Origin and spread
On March 31, 2012, computer programmer Will King took pictures of runners who participated in the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston, South Carolina. After the event was over, he uploaded pictures he took to Facebook. One of King's friends saw the picture Zeddie Little was in and nicknamed him as the "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy". On April 3, 2012, Will King uploaded the photo to Flickr and the title of the photo was "My friend calls him 'Mr. Photogenic Guy'"; this photo later received over 40,000 upvotes on reddit. After the first hit of Zeddie Little, the Facebook version was posted shortly. The next day, someone posted a meme of Zeddie Little with comedian Tina Fey. The name of the meme was "New Meme Alert: Ridiculously Photogenic Guy"; this is when Zeddie Little started becoming popular and being recognized on the internet.
Identity
Shortly after the meme about Ridiculously Photogenic Guy was posted, Charleston City Paper recognized him as 25-year-old Zeddie Little. The article also claimed they were looking for him so they could arrange an interview with him. Six days after his photo was posted online, The Daily Mail reported that they talked to Zeddie Little's father and found out that Little is currently in a 5-year relationship and is very committed; he was also looking for a job in New York in the public relations industry. Zeddie Little was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended West Ashley High School and graduated from the College of Charleston as a Communications major in 2009. Little now lives in New York City, and works at a public relations adviser for a music company.
Zeddie Little's Response
Even though he is extremely popular, Zeddie Little seems to not like the fame. "I've talked to him. He says he's trying to lay low. He doesn't want the attention," said Will King, while talking to live5news.com. Jack, the father of Little, has talked to the Charleston City Paper, said "Oh, I'm excited for him, yeah, I mean he's always been very quiet and very conscientious and never wanted any attention, and I think he's very much deserving of it." On April 11, 2012, Zeddie Little and the photographer Will King appeared on "Good Morning America" together and talked about their thoughts of "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy". When he was asked about his thoughts on all the memes about him he replied "I really don't know, but I kinda feel honored to be part of a joke that’s in good spirit because sometimes the Internet can be a little vicious or jokes can get bent the wrong way. But these are all kinda, for the most part, positive. It’s funny that everybody is kinda taking like to it. It’s, I guess, the most flattering way to get spread across the Internet.”
