Rickard Sjolander

Rickard "Palle" Sjolander is a Swedish professional freestyle footballer. He has been freestyling with many of the greats like Daniel Rooseboom de Vries and Abbas Farid.

Biography
Palle started freestyling in 2003. In the beginning, he learned simple tricks, such as "Around the World", "Crossover" and "Hop the World". Palle soon began to learn combos (tricks performed in a chain without juggling the ball in between). Soon he became famous for the variety of tricks that he put into his combos, but he was criticized by many at the time for his "panicked" style.

Gradually, he started to learn more and more tricks, and incorporate them into his combos, which became longer and longer over time. He also tried hard to improve his style, and by 2005 his style in doing long combos was the best. As he became better and better at airmoves, he began to learn upperbody moves, such as the neckstall, cheststall and headstall, as well as groundmoves. These days, people are calling him "the best freestyler in the world", due to his flowing style when it comes to the harder tricks.

Palle invented a trick known as "PATW" (Palle Around The World). To do this move, the freestyler's leg must revolve around the ball three times without a touch in between.

Nowadays palle has his own company, called freestyle factory.
