Biography
Rick Page (born 1947) is an American bestselling author and speaker. He is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, and has written two sales books: Hope is Not a Strategy - 6 Keys to Winning the Complex Sale (2000) and Make Winning a Habit - 20 Best Practices of the World’s Greatest Sales Forces (2006).
For the past 22 years, Rick has owned and served as CEO of The Complex Sale (TCS), a privately-held professional training and coaching company based in Alpharetta, Georgia, that has trained over 100,000 salespeople in 50 countries.
A recognized authority in the complex sales arena and one of the foremost experts on sales management and selling, Rick continues to develop innovative sales programs and training methodologies for sales reps worldwide in the information technology, consulting, telecommunications, medical and financial industries.
Prior to founding The Complex Sale, Rick served as senior vice president of sales operations and regional manager at Dun & Bradstreet Software (formerly Management Science America). While there, he initiated a strategic sales training program for the global sales force and led one of its most successful regions, managing more than 100 consultants and 50 sales reps for a $50 million profit center.
Rick has shared his expertise with the readers of Consultant News, Solutions Integrator and many other publications , as well as attendees of the Stanford Executive Briefing and numerous prestigious conferences.
Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s of business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
