Richard Alden Samuel "Sam" McCroskey III aka Syko Sam aka LiLdEmOnDoG is a amateur horrorcore rapper and graphic designer accused of murdering four people in Farmville, Virginia. Police arrested him on September 18, 2009 for suspicion of killing Mark Niederbrock, a pastor at a Presbyterian church in central Virginia. Niederbrock's body was found along with three others at the scene. Before the murders At the time of the Farmville murders Richard Alden Samuel McCroskey III was a 20-year-old aspiring horrorcore rapper and graphic designer who lived in Castro Valley, California. McCroskey dated 16-year-old Emma Neiderbrock of Farmville, Virginia. McCroskey was devastated when his father asked their mother to move out about five months before the murders but he was excited for a planned trip to Virginia to see his girlfriend Emma Neiderbrock. Horrorcore rapper Syko Sam As a rapper McCroskey used names Syko Sam and LiLdEmOnDoG. . McCroskey's horrorcore style rapping is said to have consisted of violent depictions in its lyrics. His music deals with things such as mutilation, thrill of murder and deaths. One of McCroskey's songs titled “Murderous Rage” starts out with the sounds of dragging and dumping a dead body and in other titled “My Dark Side” McCroskey talks about how he likes to mutilate and murder. In his YouTube video McCroskey flipped over a cross on the grave of a U.S. Marine.<ref name="Flip"/> According to Paul Calcagno, McCroskey was part of a satanic cult who engaged in ritual music videos and idolized David Berkowitz."<ref name="Update"/> According to Farmville police Capt.
